Returns and Refunds

You've got 30 days from the day your order lands to ask for a return. The bandana needs to come bac

k the way it went out. Unworn, unwashed, tags on, in its original packaging, with a receipt or some proof you bought it. A bandana that's already been on a dog

 has done its job and it's staying with the dog.

To start a return, email us at scrappytailsco@gmail.com. Once we approve it, we'll send a return shipping label and tell you exactly where to send the package. Please don't ship anything back before you hear from us. Packages that show up unannounced get refused, and nobody enjoys that.

Something arrived wrong

Open your package as soon as it gets there and look it over. If the stitching's off, the snap's busted, or we sent you a Medium when you ordered a Large, email us right away and we'll fix it. Mistakes happen in a one-person sewing room. We just want the chance to make it right.

What we can't take back

Custom and personalized bandanas are final. Once your dog's name is stitched onto something, it isn't going back into inventory. Sale items and gift cards are also final. Everything else is fair game, and if you're not sure where your order falls, just ask before you buy.

Exchanges

The fastest route is to return what you have and place a new order for the size or print you actually want. Waiting for an exchange to process is slower than just buying the thing.

European Union, 14-day cooling off period

If your order shipped into the EU, you can cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason at all. You don't owe us an explanation. Same conditions apply: unworn, tags on, original packaging, proof of purchase.

Refunds

We'll email you once your return arrives and we've looked it over, and let you know whether the refund went through. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks then take their own sweet time posting it, which is out of our hands. If 15 business days go by after we've approved your return and you still don't see the money, email scrappytailsco@gmail.com and we'll chase it down.

Two things before this goes up. The return address is still a placeholder. And I cut the boilerplate about perishable goods, beauty products, flammable liquids, and hazardous gases, because a customer reading that on a dog bandana site is going to wonder what else you've got back there.
