Somebody Stood In A Fabric Store And Committed
Share
New haul came in today.

Look at that stack. Blue swirls. Little red and green leaf things. A yellow with red dots that I keep calling "the pizza one" and nobody has corrected me. There's a teal zigzag print in there that looks like a 1987 Trapper Keeper and I mean that as the highest possible compliment.
Somebody's mother had all of this. Somebody's mother had it FOLDED. In a drawer. For years.
And then there's this.
Bananas.
Not banana-adjacent. Not a tasteful little yellow motif. Full photorealistic bananas, edge to edge, bunches on bunches. Whoever printed this did not hedge. They did not do a small tasteful border of bananas and then leave some breathing room. Nope. Bananas the whole way.
Who buys this? What was the plan? A shirt? A curtain?? Somebody stood in a fabric store and thought "yes, this, three yards" and then never used a single inch of it. Which means for years it sat there, fully committed, waiting.
Waiting for a dog.
Karie's already cutting it. It'll be a bandana by the weekend and it will be the single most confident thing your dog has ever worn. Somebody's going to stop you on the walk. Not to compliment it. Just to confirm what they're seeing.
Anyway. That's what came in today. Check the shop later this week... there's one bolt and when it's gone it's gone.
Especially the bananas. There will never be more bananas.
